Centerboard trunk ready for final assembly. I used 3M5200 instead of Weldwood in building and mounting the trunk. In my first Gypsy, many of these joints opened up so I'm hoping a more flexible (and expensive) adhesive will work better.

Here is the mast partner. Not quite ready for installation but you get the idea. I've modified the mast partner assembly by inverting it and setting it on "strunnels". This will allow for no break in the forward deck as the deck will cover the partner.

Notice the reinforced step plate. I noticed flex cracking in the finish of my first Gypsy around the (two) mounting strips.  The additional two strips and the wider plate should firm things up.
